They told me that they want to build a playground in a lot behind the school to provide a space for the children of the community. They explained to me that they can get donations of the basic materials (wood and\u00a0wheels)\u00a0but that\u00a0they lacked further resources to buy the rest of the necessary material.<\/p>\n<p>I liked the ide<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2921 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/actionaid.es\/voluntariado\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Foto-18.11.14-21-28-39-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Foto 18.11.14 21 28 39\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>a, so I started to collect money in Germany \u2013 through my former schools, through a friend who works in a cinema and set up a donation box\u00a0and amongst my friends and family. The idea was to construct the playground with as little resources as possible and exclusively by volunteers. The students of grade 11 as well as some members of the community and three teachers were more than prepared to contribute the labour during their free time.
